Dispatching Assistant

 

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree, any field.
  • At least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is a plus.
  • Newly graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Preferably Male.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Preparing, organizing and final checking of all the documents of the joining seafarers which they need to bring to their assigned vessel.
  2. Prepares Guarantee Letter for Airlines, Immigration and Port Authorities.
  3. Prepares Transmittal Letters to the Master for crew changes.
  4. Prepares Letter Request for the Travel Allowance for the onsigners if applicable.
  5. Ensures that all packages that need to be brought onboard are properly endorsed to the onsigners and has been logged accordingly.
  6. Proper endorsement of the travel documents to the onsigners including the discussion of their flight details, joining ports and assisting agents as well.
  7. Monitors the onsigners and advises the Fleet Supervisor if the onsigners have already checked-in and pass the Immigration Counter. Facilitates the dispatching process for crew members at the airport, if necessary.
  8. Keeps and organizes the 201 files of the onboard and on vacation mariners.
  9. Assume some duties that may be assigned by the President & CEO and Fleet Supervisor, as required by the business exigencies.
  10. The Employee shall report directly to Documentation Supervisor.

 

Junior/Senior Software Development Consultant

 

Qualifications

  • Holds a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or any related course.
  • At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in Perl and Shell Script.
  • Good understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP).
  • Good understanding of relational databases.
  • Knowledge in any MVC Framework is a plus.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum is a plus.
  • Experience in programming under Unix or Linux Environment is a plus.
  • Willing to render overtime work when required.

  4. Ensures that software product requirements of clients are met.
  5. Designs systems architecture.

  8. Collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders to promote progression to projects, resolve issues and share information.
  9. Key participant in requirements gathering and analysis, and project planning.
  10. Key participant in the development and implementation of engineering standards, best practices, software development methodology and other processes.
  11. Presents software products to stakeholders.
  12. Actively look for areas to improve in all assigned tasks or processes involved.
  13. Creates documentation involving software products as needed.
  14. Allocates time to accomplish special tasks or projects assigned to him or her.

 

Junior Finance Officer, CPA

 

Qualifications

  • Holds a degree in Finance, Accountancy, CPA
  • Has excellent communications skills and is highly personable
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and other accounting software
  • Resourceful, highly organized, and committed
  • Must be a team player

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Conducts financial research based on parameters and objectives set by the CEO.
  2. Analyzes collected finance data.
  3. Submits financial recommendations to the CEO.
  4. Prepares, analyzes and coordinates wages and reimbursable expenses of the Company’s Superintendents.
  5. Prepares daily Cash Position and weekly Liquidity Report and submits these to the Hellespont Group Chief Finance Officer.
  6. Shall report directly to President & CEO.
