Training Development Assistant

 

Job Qualifications

  • Graduates of any Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts course may apply;

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for the design and development of training programs and ensures product conformity based on the set requirements.
  2. Responsible for ensuring that training programs are up-to-date and in compliance with Statutory and Industry requirements.
  3. Research technical data and other information needed for the development of new and updating of existing training programs.
  4. Consults and coordinates with Subject Matter Experts for input on the development and updating of training programs.
  5. Consults coordinates and seeks approval from the Chief Training Officer for the development of training programs.
  6. Reviews verify and validate training programs for conformity and continuous improvement.
  7. Prepares multimedia learning materials and other visual aids to be utilized by the Instructor on the conduct of training.
  8. Evaluates the Instructor to ensure that the quality objectives have been met in accordance with the requirements of each training program.
  9. Maintains order and keeps the Library with up-to-date reference in coordination with the Administration Supervisor & QMR.
  10. Monitors and submits the progress report of the Department to the Chief Training Officer to ensure deadlines are met and priorities are organized.
  11. Continuously find ways to improve the current procedure and contribute to the Quality Management System (QMS) Manual as needed.
  12. Assume duties that may be assigned by the Management as required by the business exigencies.

Junior Finance Officer

 

Job Qualifications

  • Holds a degree in Finance, Accountancy, CPA;
  • Has excellent communications skills and is highly personable;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and other accounting software;
  • Resourceful, highly organized, and committed;
  • Must be a team player.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Conducts financial research based on parameters and objectives set by the CEO.
  2. Analyzes collected finance data.
  3. Submits financial recommendations to the CEO.
  4. Prepares, analyzes and coordinates wages and reimbursable expenses of the Company’s Superintendents.
  5. Prepares daily Cash Position and weekly Liquidity Report and submits these to the Hellespont Group Chief Finance Officer.
  6. Shall report directly to the President & CEO.

Secretary

Documentation Assistant

 

Job Qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Issues of PEME referral and monitors the medical status of the seafarers.
  2. Ensures that the seafarer has a valid medical certificate stating that he is medically FIT TO WORK for their duties prior to embarkation.
  3. Receives seafarers’ documents and check its completeness based on Checklist 157 and MANSHIP’s Documents Checklist.
  4. Verifies the authenticity of seafarers’ licenses, certificates, and other required documents through UV light and online verification on the issuing body's official website.
  5. Monitors the validity of the original documents of seafarers ashore.
  6. Advises seafarers about their additional trainings to be taken.
  7. Follows up the seafarer regarding their additional trainings needed and its schedules.
  8. Receives training certificates and training billings.
  9. Endorses the seafarers to the training centers.
  10. Advises and reminds the seafarers regarding the schedule of their training.
  11. Keeps and files the training evaluations completed by the seafarers.
  12. Ensures that seafarers join the vessel with complete training as per Principal matrix.
  13. Files flag documents of seafarers.
  14. Prepares flag documents applications of seafarers.
  15. Coordinates with the seafarers regarding flag documents applications and requirements.
  16. Monitors seafarers’ flag validity.
