Accounting Assistant

 

Job Descriptions

  • Holds a degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking or any related course

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Filing of check vouchers
  2. Prepares report for Monthly Remittance Return of Creditable Income Taxes Withheld (expanded).
  3. Prepares Monthly/Quarterly Value Added Tax Return.
  4. Prepares vouchers of all expenditures.
  5. Prepares government remittance reports such as SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-ibig.
  6. Prepares Cash Disbursement Book/ Ledger and Cash and Sales Book.
  7. Prepares Bank Reconciliation monthly.
  8. Perform other duties that may be assigned by the CEO from time to time.

Documentation Assistant

 

Job Descriptions

  • Graduates of any Bachelor of Science
  • Has good interpersonal skills necessary in dealing with government agencies such as BIR
  • Must have excellent comprehension skills
  • Is able to work as part of a team
  • Must be willing to render overtime work when required
  • Must be resourceful, highly organized, and committed

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Preparing, organizing, and final checking of all the documents of the joining seafarers which they need to bring to their assigned vessel.
  2. Prepares Guarantee Letter for Airlines, Immigration and Port Authorities.
  3. Prepares Transmittal Letters to the Master for crew changes.
  4. Ensures that all packages that need to be brought onboard are properly endorsed to the onsigners and have been logged accordingly.
  5. Proper endorsement of the travel documents to the onsigners including the discussion of their flight details, joining ports, and assisting agents as well.
  6. Monitors the onsigners and advises the Senior Crew Operations Officer if the onsigners have already checked-in and passed the Immigration Counter. Facilitates the dispatching process for crew members at the airport, if necessary.
  7. Keeps and organizes the 201 files of the onboard and on vacation mariners.
  8. Prepares employment contracts of seafarers with the approved line-up.
  9. Keeps and monitors the original documents of seafarers ashore.
  10. Receives the licenses, certificates, and other required documents submitted by the seafarers and checks the completeness, validity, and authenticity of the said documents through UV light scanning and online verification in the issuing body's official website.
  11. Advises the Documentation Supervisor regarding the lacking documents of the seafarers.
  12. Advises the seafarers about their expiring documents, lacking, and additional trainings to be taken.
  13. Follows up the seafarers weekly with regard to expiring documents or additional trainings and documents needed on a weekly basis.
  14. Updates the seafarers’ lacking and expiring monitoring sheet for the trainings endorsed to the Training Personnel.
  15. Releases the original documents of the seafarers who are no longer rehirable, are medically unfit and seafarers who request to withdraw their documents for other reasons.
  16. Prepares and issues Sea Service Certificate, letters, and requirements for MARINA and POEA purpose upon seafarer’s request.
  17. Assumes other duties that may be assigned by Fleet Supervisor required by the business exigencies

Junior Corporate Finance Officer, CPA

 

Job Qualifications

  • Holds a degree in Finance, Accountancy, Certified Public Accountant(CPA);
  • Has excellent communications skills and is highly personable;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs and other accounting software;
  • Resourceful, highly organized, and committed;
  • Must be a team player.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Conducts financial research based on parameters and objectives set by the CEO.
  2. Analyzes collected finance data.
  3. Submits financial recommendations to the CEO.
  4. Prepares, analyzes and coordinates wages and reimbursable expenses of the Company’s Superintendents.
  5. Prepares daily Cash Position and weekly Liquidity Report and submits these to the Greek principal Chief Finance Officer.
  6. Shall report directly to the President and CEO.
